Guard against toxic spillage with the Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberm, a fully collapsible, rapidly deployable berm made from chemical-resistant materials. The Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberm is constructed from industrial-strength fabric, it is an easy-to-install environmental safeguard that allows companies to meet today’s strict guidelines.
Designed to provide secondary containment under fuel tanks and drums, the Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberm uses L-rods inside fabric pockets to provide support. Durable and reliable, use it virtually anywhere for secondary containment or storage of toxic materials. Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberms use L-shaped rods to hold up the walls, yet can fold down easily for entry and exit.
Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberms are fully collapsible for compact storage and easy transport. Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberms wall design allows for vehicles and equipment to drive over the collapsed walls. Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberms are built in a wide range of sizes to fit your application, and are built with eyelet hoses to allow the berm to be staked to the ground.
Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberms are cost efficient in comparison to other berms such as air inflated, and require less overall maintenance. Heavyweight Arctic Shield L-Rod Instaberms are appropriate for waste water, petroleum products and various other chemicals. Instaberms help you avoid stiff penalties from non-compliance of EPA standards
Arctic Shield Instaberms are constructed of extreme temperature-proof Arctic-Shield fabric (resistant to -50 degrees F/-46 C). Arctic-Shield fabric is fully certified by Intertek to meet the CAN/ULC-S668-12 standard for liners. This standard is listed in the Storage Tank Systems for Petroleum Products and Allied Petroleum Products Regulations (SOR/2008-197), under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999. Arctic-Shield Lightweight and Heavyweight fabric features chemical and fire resistance properties and is cold crack resistant to -50°C (not suitable for acids). In addition to superior abrasion resistance, Arctic-Shield Heavyweight remains flexible in freezing temperatures making it ideal for set up in the winter.
