Full Face Gaskets are gaskets designed for use with most types of flanges. These rubber gaskets are designed to standard sizes to fit most flanged ends, and come with pre-cut holes designed to align with standard flange bolts. Full face gaskets come in a variety of materials, including EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Red Sheet, SF 2401, Viton and White Nitrile.
Full face gaskets are capable of being used with both raised face flanges, as well as flat faced flanges. Full face gaskets, unlike ring gaskets, are designed so that the outer diameter of the gasket is equal to that of the outside diameter of the flange. This improves the gasket sealing effectiveness on flat face gaskets by increasing the overall coverage area of the full face gasket. This also brings a second benefit over ring gaskets, in that full face gaskets cover up to the outer edge of the flange, preventing dirt and grime from filling the gap. However, in order to replace a full face gasket, the flange joint must be fully disassembled to access the gasket.
The Full Face gaskets offered here are standardized sizes of our most common flange gaskets. These Full Face Gaskets come in 2 common thicknesses, and several material types to choose from.
