Steel Containment Drums are the standard when it comes to material transport and storage. Whether it be virgin chemicals, crude oil, waste liquids, or other products requiring storage for transport, the classic Steel Containment Drum is a convenient and effective way to transport liquids.

Steel Containment Drums come in a variety of sizes, materials and lining options to best support your storage requirements. The 45 Gallon Steel Containment Drum is available in an open headed and closed headed design.

The open head design for Steel Containment Drums is designed for the storage and transport of higher viscosity liquids, such as oils, syrups, and glues. The Open Headed Steel Containment Drum is also common for usage in situations where adding or removing liquids is very commonplace, but the usage of a drum pump would be impractical. Open Headed drums require a lid that closes and locks into place for safe and effective transport.

The closed head design for Steel Containment Drums is designed for lighter liquids with low viscosity, and for situations where the drum will be used for disposal via a funnel or extraction with a pump. Closed Head Steel Containment drums feature a lid that is permanently in place, with the only access available via 2 openings in the cover, a 2″ access port and a 3/4″ vent. The 2″ port is great for connecting funnels and pumps to the drum for easy dispensing/filling of the drum.
